XO Chess - Privacy Policy

Introduction

This privacy policy applies to the XO Chess app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Phystick (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application collects the following information to provide and improve our services:

Game statistics and preferences (stored locally on your device)
Anonymous user identifiers for online multiplayer functionality
Device and usage information collected by our advertising partners (AdMob)
Temporary game data for online matches (automatically deleted after 24 hours)
If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games: your Google Play profile name, user ID, and email address

            Important: Most data collection is optional - you can play the game without signing into Google Play Games or using online features.
        

Does the Application collect precise real time location information?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

We share limited information with the following third parties:

Google AdMob: Collects device information and usage patterns to show relevant ads
Firebase (Google): Stores anonymous game data for online multiplayer features
Google Play Games (if you sign in): Your profile information is managed by Google

These services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

What are my opt-out rights?

You have several options to limit data collection:

Uninstall the app to stop all data collection and delete local data
Don't sign in to Google Play Games to avoid sharing profile information
Don't use online multiplayer to avoid Firebase data collection
Adjust your device's ad personalization settings to limit advertising data
Use airplane mode to play offline and avoid most data sharing

            Data Retention: Online game data (Firebase) is automatically deleted after 24 hours. For Google Play Games and advertising data, please use Google's privacy controls.
        

Children

The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider (dan.crisan.dc@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We implement appropriate security measures to protect the limited data we collect. Game data is stored locally on your device, and online game data is transmitted securely and deleted automatically after games end.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to their Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
